"I followed the guide perfectly. Built all seven agents. Created CLAUDE.md. But when I opened Antigravity... nothing. It ignored everything."
If this sounds familiar, you're not alone. The pipeline relies on a feature that only exists in Claude Code.
The Claude Code Advantage
Claude Code automatically reads CLAUDE.md from your project root at the start of every conversation. This file acts as persistent "project memory" containing:
- •Brand voice rules
- •Pipeline workflows with checkpoint commands
- •Folder structure conventions
- •Agent orchestration instructions
Other Tools Ignore It
Google Antigravity, Cursor, Windsurf, and other AI coding tools do NOT have this feature. They ignore CLAUDE.md entirely.
What Happens Without Configuration
- ✗Workflow violations: The agent runs all stages without stopping at checkpoints
- ✗Voice drift: Brand voice and content guidelines aren't loaded
- ✗Inconsistent outputs: Each conversation starts from zero context
Platform Comparison
| Platform | Reads CLAUDE.md? | Alternative |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | ✓ Yes, automatically | N/A |
| Google Antigravity | ✗ No | .agent/workflows/ + .agent/rules.md |
| Cursor | ✗ No | .cursorrules |
| Windsurf | ✗ No | Project rules file |
💡 The solution: Decompose CLAUDE.md into files that your tool does recognize.
